covers
more than 100 law topics.
Simply click on a topic in their directory to find the
answers to your legal questions or to determine your legal
rights in a given situation.
Be sure to take advantage of their question and answer
and legal advice forums. There's also a State Law Center
and a feature called "Ask a Lawyer on Free Advice Live!"
You can also get help to locate a qualified attorney.

Another legal resource, Findlaw.com
(formerly Lawoffice.com)
allows you to browse by state or by primary legal area of
practice for an attorney to meet your needs.
But better than that, if you scroll down to the bottom of
the page, you'll find links to state and federal laws,
and even to free legal forms that you can download from
the internet.
There's also a very good section of questions and answers
to help you select and hire an attorney who will meet
your needs and requirements.
Back when it was Lawoffice.com, it provided a lot more
legal services for free. But that's another loss from
the dot com shakeout.

There seem to be a lot more viruses going around lately.
I get two or three attempts to infect my computer weekly.
How do I know? I use a virus
protection system that
alerts me when an email comes in with a viral infection. It
also sequesters the malicious code in a "vault" from which I
can safely delete it before it does any harm.

great anti-virus option: online virus
checking via your browser. You can get a free virus scan
of your system anytime you're connected to the internet
at this site:

The scan can take a while depending on how many programs
you have on your computer. But it sure is convenient. Did

Halloween is just around the corner, and what better way
to celebrate it than with a desktop theme. Themes
