Nonags.com is a software site featuring FREE full
functioning programs that you can download. The no-frills
drill-down directory structure requires a little getting
used to: you keep going through menus until you find what
you're looking for.

However, the effort is worth it. They've got links to just
about every category that you can think of. I especially
liked the anti-virus software they make available.

What's nice about the software you can obtain here is
that you won't need to contend with disable features,
nag screens, time limits or other bothersome tricks of
the software trade.

In general, using key commands (if you can remember them)
is faster than using your mouse for many computer
functions.

Here are a few simple combinations that can help you
eliminate the hand-eye coordination and skill required
to utilize the little boxes in the upper right corner of
an open window. This should make minimizing, maximizing
or closing windows simpler.

Hold down the "Alt" key and the spacebar at the same time
and then hit:

"C" to close the active window
"N" to minimize the active window
"X" to maximize it
"R" to restore it (from maximized view)

Hitting the "Alt" key and "F4" at the same time will also
close the active window.

right corner so that they're easier to manipulate.

The Discovery Channel has an excellent web page devoted to
health topics.

In addition to plugging their own programming, they also
offer quite a few useful links to health information,
including mental health.

There are calculators you can use to figure your calorie
burn rate, pregnancy due date, basal metabolic and target
heart rates, and several others.

You'll also have access to scads of reference materials
on conditions and diseases, as well as a drug reference
center.

Unfortunately, their link to "find a doctor" was not
active when I tried it.
