Here's a web-based service that allows you to compare
U.S. shipping rates, purchase shipping, schedule a pickup
for your package, and even print a shipping label for your
parcel. And once your package is on its way, you can
track it from this web site.

SmartShip even has a rate chart, which lists all your
pick-up and drop-off options, in order of delivery date.
You can arrange for shipping directly online without the
need to pick up your phone.

Their goal is to be an unbiased, independent source
of shipping information for small businesses, SOHOs,
(Small Offices, Home Offices) and consumers.

[2] THIS WEEK'S COMPUTING TIP: Remove Unwanted Commands

Have a bunch of programs inserted themselves into the
menu that opens when you right-click the Windows Start
button? The right-click on "Start" pop-up menu begins as
a quick way to access your "Start Menu" folder, but a
number of programs have probably insinuated their way
into yours. (Right-click on YOUR Start button now to
see what I mean.)

Here's how to get rid of any that you no longer want:

From inside any Windows Explorer window, select
"View," "Folder Options," and click the "File Types"
tab. Scroll down the list of "Registered file types" and
left click "Folder" to select it. Click the "Edit" button,
and you'll probably see the unwanted action in the white "Actions" box. Left click to select it, then click the
"Remove" button, then click "Yes" to confirm that you
want to delete it. Click "OK" twice to close the
remaining two dialog boxes. Right-click the Start
button (or any other folder or folder shortcut), and
that command should be gone.
