[1] THIS WEEK'S MONEY SAVER: Clean Out Your Garage
--------------------------------------------------------
Do you have a garage full of items that you and your
family outgrew or no longer want? Here's
a web site
where you can put those items to use by trading them
for something you want or selling them for extra cash.
SwapVillage.com
is an online flea market and swap
meet. They provide an online marketplace that
facilitates swapping, buying, and selling pre-owned
items.
Traders, buyers and sellers sign up for a free account
and then can post details about the items they're
offering - or look for items they want. It's like a
global yard sale. Here's
where to start swapping:

in

[2] THIS WEEK'S COMPUTING TIP: Assigning A Subject
----------------------------------------------------------
Here's a helpful tip for when you want e-mail sent to
you to have a specific word or phrase in the "Subject"
line. For example, if you're planning an event and you
want to be able to quickly pick out replies to your
e-mails in your in box. This is especially useful if you
get a lot of e-mail, and you want to quickly be able to
sort through it all for just the most important messages.
Simply add a question mark after the "dot com." Then
ad "subject=" (without the quotes) after the question
mark.
Here's an example. Try clicking on it and see how the
subject line of your message is filled in for you:

[3] THIS WEEK'S INTERNET TIP: Free Online PC Diagnosis
----------------------------------------------------------
Here's a web
site where you can get your PC tested
and diagnosed for free through a browser interface.
And depending on the speed of your system, it's
relatively fast.
PC Pitstop
can help you get your PC in top form --
running fast, stable and secure. PC
Pitstop runs its
diagnostics on your PC to identify things that might
help improve performance. The process is fully
automated, private and safe.
After the diagnostics run, they'll give you tips for
improving all kinds of things. The diagnostic tests are
safe, passive evaluations of your system. The tests won't
change any settings on your PC. And there is a stringent
policy protecting any personal information.
Best of all, the service is free!
