You know the old joke, "What if Bill Gates had a nickel
for every time that a computer running Windows froze
up? Oh, he already does."

Here's a common scenario you may have experienced:
You browse a web page with a very long address or you
view an HTML e-mail message containing such a string,
and before you know it Windows hangs and you need to reboot. The folks at Redmond tell us that the problem is
caused by a buffer overflow in the Windows networking software that supports access to local or remote files.

Here's the good part, there is a solution. Obtain and
run the appropriate file for your version of Windows 95
or Windows 98 at this address.

[3] THIS WEEK'S INTERNET TIP: Accurate Time and Date

Here's a public service provided by the two time agencies of United States: the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and its military counterpart, the U.S. Naval Observatory (USNO). Readings from the clocks of these agencies contribute to world time, called Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
The time maintained by both agencies should never differ
by more than 0.0000001 seconds from UTC.

When you visit the site you'll notice that they tell you
how accurate the current reading actually is, as well as
the current date and time as well as giving you a map of
the globe showing where it is currently day or night.
