[1] THIS WEEK'S MONEY SAVER: Search For A New ISP
--------------------------------------------------------

Looking For A New Internet Service Provider?

ISPCheck is a guide to getting the best fit of service and
price when you're looking for an Internet service
provider or a place to publish your web site, also known
as hosting.

They claim to list over 13,000 service plans from more
than 3,500 providers, and they describe themselves as
"The Fastest Way to the Best Service Provider."

You will need to either ignore or turn off the annoying
animated graphics. (Suggestion: use your browser's
"Stop Animations" command in your view menu.)

[2] THIS WEEK'S COMPUTING TIP: No More Welcome To Windows
---------------------------------------------------------

Get Rid of That Annoying Welcome To Windows Box

When you installed Windows, did you accidentally type
a password in the "Welcome To Windows" dialog box? Are you now sufficiently annoyed with the need to log in, and do you now wish to remove this annoyance? Here's how:

Start Windows and log in using your user name and password. Open the Control Panel, double-click Passwords, and on the Change Passwords tab, click the "Change Windows Password" button. On the "Old
Password" line, type your password.

Press Tab to move down to the "New Password" line,
then with the line BLANK, press Enter (to enter no password).

A dialog box will appear to tell you your password has
been successfully changed. Click OK, click Close, and
that "Welcome To Windows" dialog box is gone for
good.

The Web Developer's Friend Since 1996

Webmonkey is a place where: "We tinker, break stuff, figure things out, and pass the information on to you. We explain emerging technologies, explore the trends, and show you how to use this knowledge for good instead
of evil."

Whether you're just starting out with HTML, are looking
to expand your Photoshop or Flash skills, need to brush
up on stylesheets, want to build an online store, or are ready to take the best JavaScript tutorial on the Web, Webmonkey has a tutorial for you.

There's also a slew of articles and commentary, covering
just about every Web-related topic you've ever heard of.
If you have a question, you're pretty likely to find your
answer somewhere in the seven categories into which
they've divided their content: Authoring, Design,
Multimedia, E-Business, Programming, Backend, and
Jobs.
